Ask your eye care doctor if the colored contact lens is for you. He or she will probably say yes. The colored contact lens comes in a variety of colors and types. You can get the common colors of brown, blue, hazel and green. You can also get colors such as amethyst, aqua and violet as well as various tints; the lightest tint doesn’t really do anything for your eye color but it does help in putting the lenses in and taking them out. It also helps you to find them if you happen to drop one.

Then there is a colored contact lens that has a slightly lighter tint and is a little heavier but it won’t really change the color of your eyes. It does however; enhance your natural eye color. The opaque colored contact lens will change the color of your eyes. You can change from brown eyes to blue, or blue to green or anything you want.

People with perfect vision who want to enhance or change their eye color can purchase non-corrective lenses that are tinted. They do have to get a prescription for them even though they have perfect vision. Your eye care doctor must properly fit them.
